Weldone (Sylvester Precious Essuman Acquah) is a Ghanaian bwoy raised in Cape Coast in the Central Region of Ghana. He realized his artistic ambitions as a youngin and believes in being a real proponent in the art world since his family was one which really enjoyed artistry.
Weldone was born and raised in Cape Coast and is the middle born of three children. He attended Montessori Junior High School and proceeded to Edinaman Senior High where he offered Business as a course. He forwarded to Prominence Institute Of Management And Professional Studies (PRIMPS) to offer Journalism And Media Studies. Weldone began his music career right in school, participating in cyphers, rap battles and stage performances. Won so many awards as a youngin back in high school like best rapper, best hip hop artist, best hip hop song and more. Since he's an entertainer, he's able to do other things aside music like acting, Mc-ing and more. He later went on the low for a while because education is key, had to get done with the books. He took back the mantle and appeared on the music scene in 2015 still as an underground but was still working to find his way out. Weldone professionally appeared on the music scene in 2017. Due to his versatility, he is a rapper and a singer who has got some great works to his credit. He's been making waves and collaborating with some of the best artist in his diaspora.. talk of Kwacy the Singer, Neujay, Wagez Rap, Kojo Vypa, SaaBoyNo and more. He got introduced to a producer who now is his personal producer in 2015, Beat Mechanix also known as Swagbeatz. Since then, they have been working hard trying to make good use of their talents. Weldone is known for his american accent that blows his fans mind off especially when he puts it in a local song. He's sometimes called "Gh Eminem" because of his style and energy of rap on hip hop songs. His style being different got him a recognition early. His slogan L.U.R.Q nigga in the building, L.U.R.Q meaning Link Up Real Quicc is a very interesting one that has got him mad fans. Almost all his songs has received positive reviews from music critics.. Currently under no management but has got a team. Kingsley Paa Kwesi Amuah, his promoter, Beat Mechanix as his Producer and Rhudebwoy Stampz also a Promoter. As an artist, he believes that you have to be working always because breakthrough don't come with you being lazy. He's currently a staff of Asaase Radio as a Broadcast Journalist. His music has been on hold for a while because he was pursuing other things. He's still acting and Mc-ing though.
